"Upon arrival at the airport, easy to find the tui rep station for transfer bus, was stuck on the bus for a long while whilst waiting for everyone to find out people we were waiting for had got a taxi to their hotel instead. Transfer time was way over an hour and half by the time all the other hotel drop offs have been done, Marriott was the last drop off. I would suggest opting for a private transfer or taxi but bear in mind you cannot check in until 3pm which kind of ruins it when you arrive at the hotel as you are hanging around waiting. Staff are all friendly but things could be a bit more organised with check in. You can exchange money to Tunisian money at reception. Definitely Opt for a double room with limited sea view as you get a nice sea view/ pool view so you can see the sunrise and sunset. The city views are rather noisy with the busy roads. Hotel Should provide ashtrays for the balcony’s as there was a lot of cigarette butts when you look off the balcony. That were not cleaned up the whole week we was there. In the room there is a mini fridge but it’s not stocked and not very cold. They leave 1 bottle of water in the room with tea/coffee facilities. Would be nice to have a stocked mini fridge especially for a 4 star hotel this would be a great little touch. They supply shampoo, shower gel and conditioner in the bathroom but they don’t supply hand wash just a bar of soap. Hair dryer and iron in the room. Air con in the room isn’t great, the hotel operate it so you cannot make it any colder yourself. It’s also seasonal operated so when it’s a very hot day you will find the room is more cold then a less hot day it’s not cold at all and being on the balcony will be colder. Cleaners came every day to replace water, towels and toilet roll. When they replaced the towels they always forgot some, we ever ended up with two bath towels and no hand towels or no bath mat. Lunch is not the best in the restaurant limited selection but the snack bar is much better stone baked pizzas, chicken shish, chips etc but it’s at an additional cost. 67000 Tunisian diner for chips pizza and shish around £17. Dinner is great in the restaurant, lots of choice, ice cream, deserts, soup, cooked meats, bread etc. not a big selection for kids to eat, chips and fish fingers depending on the day. To access the beach they have their own walkway pass the main pool down the steps and use the under pass I thought this was a lovely touch with free sun beds and waiter service for drinks. Highly recommend tipping. There are 3 pools, adults only as the main pool, down the steps another pool family pool and kids play pool. An indoor pool which is nice but be careful the tiles in the actual pool are very slippery and you will fall over. I would suggest the hotel consider changing these to some non slip tiles. Adults pool has nice comfy sun loungers. Also be careful when getting in and out of this pool as a lady fell and bashed her head when exiting. Lifeguard was there to help luckily. There’s a spa(extra charges occur) free gym with some good equipment but no air con in there was extremely hot and indoor pool on level -1. WiFi signal around the pool needs to be improved it kept dropping out. In the room it was great. At the beach it was struggle to get any signal. The hotel has the luxury factor with the waiters they do a fantastic job always serving you drinks and food at your lounger. The lifeguards were amazing always bringing you pool towels and putting the umbrellas up and down as you wish. They would even reserve sun loungers for you which I thought was strange, but a tip clearly goes a long way with them. Pool towels are free of charge but a lot of people don’t bother removing them when they are finished with their loungers which is annoying. People also take the pool towels to their rooms at the end of the day to be up early to reserve the beds in the morning as the towels are not available until 8am ish. People start to reserve their loungers from as early as 6am if not earlier, loungers were still available at 9.30am but by midday there is no sun loungers around the pool so head to the beach where sun loungers are hugely available. There is a beach bar aswell this wasn’t open on Saturday when we arrived. Animation team offer water aerobics, dancing, Zumba etc during the day. Evening entertainment is extremely late at 11pm for dancing. The entertainment could be improved in the evenings for example: dance shows etc. There are a lot of excursions available ie pirate boats, city tours etc and water sports on the beach. Overall for the price of the whole holiday it was a nice break away, if your looking for a nice chilled break it’s a place for you, if you require kids/ adults entertainment in the evenings I would suggest a different hotel with more to do."

"The Hotel need some maintenance in and out door (communal showers and toilets around pool area as only 1 shower working) however the staff are faultless from the security at the gate down to the beach. Everyone is so friendly and no ask is too big - the cleaners do an amaxing job - the restaurant staff are attentive and welcoming - The reception staff are very approachable - The star of our trip was the life guard Thameur he is non stop all day long, he goes above and beyond ensuring all guests are catered for with beds towels and keeping the area clean. The only negative which is out of the hotels control is the views and outside noise."
