Club Aqua Plaza

"Our family stayed at this hotel in Turkey from 21st–28th May 2026, and unfortunately the entire experience fell far below our expectations. Our holiday got off to a disappointing start when boarding the plane, as the staff were rude and abrupt. Upon arriving at Antalya Airport, our transfer was extremely disorganised. It took a considerable amount of time for the representatives to locate our booking on their list, leaving us waiting with a tired and restless toddler. Once we were finally allocated transport, all seven of us were squeezed into a very cramped minibus for a journey lasting approximately an hour and a half. During the transfer, there was only one stop for refreshments and toilet facilities. Alarmingly, when setting off again, the driver almost departed with the door still wide open, which was extremely concerning. Upon arrival at the hotel, the atmosphere felt cold and unwelcoming. Despite having travelled for many hours with children, we were not offered any food, refreshments, or even a warm welcome. Throughout our stay, staff made very little effort to communicate with us or make us feel valued as guests. The food was by far the biggest disappointment. The selection was repetitive, with virtually the same meals being served day after day. On one occasion, my husband witnessed a member of staff removing visibly bad pieces of food from a tray before serving the remainder to guests. This gave the impression that food was continually reused until it was either consumed or no longer fit for use, which was very concerning. The hotel’s advertising promotes a range of children’s activities and facilities; however, the reality was completely different. The kids’ club was extremely outdated, with damaged flooring that was ripped and protruding from the ground, creating a clear trip hazard. There were very few resources available and no staff present to supervise or engage with the children. The on-site shop was also disappointing, with heavily inflated prices and staff who were overly persistent in trying to make sales. Housekeeping standards were poor. On one occasion, we returned to our room at 4:30pm to find it had not been cleaned. My husband had to actively seek out housekeeping staff to request fresh towels and toilet paper. As a family, we had been looking forward to this holiday for over a year. Sadly, it was a huge disappointment from start to finish and did not provide the relaxing, enjoyable experience we had hoped for. This was our first visit to Turkey, and regrettably, our experience has left us with no desire to return. We feel extremely let down by both the hotel and the overall holiday experience and would not recommend this resort to other families."

A special thank you to the animation team, who made our stay even more enjoyable. Their energy, enthusiasm, and dedication to entertaining guests throughout the day and evening were truly impressive. They created a fun and welcoming atmosphere for both children and adults. We would like to thank the entire hotel staff for their hospitality. They made every activity fun and helped create a wonderful atmosphere for guests of all ages. Their enthusiasm and dedication truly made our holiday unforgettable.
