La Blanche Island has a spectacular setting, on its own peninsula cloaked in greenery. It offers widescreen views of the Aegean Sea, and there are three stretches of sand to catch the sunny rays on – all just a hop from the hotel.
La Blanche falls firmly into the ‘something for everyone’ category. There are four lake-like pools among the palm-covered grounds, along with an awesome aqua park packed with slides. Activities span aqua aerobics, Pilates, dance classes, and sports like table tennis. And children have their own schedule, with plenty of fun laid on at the hotel-run kids’ club. Indoors, meanwhile, there’s a mood-lit spa with a traditional Turkish bath, sauna and steam room.
Families are well fed here, thanks to an international buffet eatery and four speciality restaurants, serving seafood, Turkish, Far Eastern, Italian cuisine. For a spot of lunch, why not make the most of the à la carte options available at Vira, within Pulcinella and Mylos, within Azure. There’s also a snack bar down on the sands, plus a patisserie serving sweet treats, not to mention a handful of bars for sunset tipples. When you need your caffeine-fix, you can get Starbucks coffee. At sundown, the resort really comes into its own, with shows, karaoke, bingo and quizzes the whole family can get involved in. Fancy a midnight snack? The 24/7 snack restaurant has you covered for late arrivals, afternoon munchies, and more.
Please note that the main outdoor pool and the shared pool for swim-up rooms are heated in April, May and October.
