Defne Beach Suites

"Excellent location opposite the beach and within walking distance to Calis beach and strip. Flat for people to walk into the centre which is a good 10 -15 minute walk to the strip.. There are supermarkets etc round the corner A101 which is very reasonable along with a fruit stall and some other local shops. Plenty of places to eat in the area including Alia bar within the grounds of the Daphne Residence. Dolmus (Local bus )stops on the main road about 5 minute walk away where the D sign is. Hou can tap and pay on your card and costs around 70p. Staff are very friendly here and nothing was too much trouble they were always happy to help. The rooms are all on 3 floors our room was first floor and was quiet with a side sea view. The rooms are spacious with a Kitchen area with fridge and sink with plenty of cupboard space and glasses andmugs and a kettle. No cooking facilities or plates cutlery etc. Rooms are on a bed and breakfast basis. Rooms were cleaned very couple of days with a chnage of towels and bedding changed weekly. Plenty of space for hanging clothes etc could have done with a few morecoag hangers. Plenty of drawers and mirrors. Bathroom has a walk in shower and plenty of hot water. Hairdryer in bathroom. A large lounge area with table and chairs and sofa and a large TV some English channels mainly news channels .Nice large balcony with table and chairs. Laminate flooring and tiles. Gardens are large and beautifully kept the staff never stop. Two nice size swimming pools and two small baby pools. Plenty of sunloungers around the pool. Nice patio area with large parasols and seating for a couple of coffee etc. Small children area to the back of the apartments. Rooms are bed and breakfast. Breakfast is a buffet style Turkish Breakfast from 8am-10am. Help yourself coffee and tea and every variety of coffee from the coffee machine. Oats and cornflakes to help yourself to. A bowl of plain Turkish yoghurt, A variety of cheese. Bread with Jams, Marmalade, Nutella, Honey. Teo toasters to make your own toast, Turkish Salami, Cucumber tomatoes olives boiled eggs, Omlette even chips. Had butter the first morning but then wasn't any but I was happy with the Hummus and Yoghurt with mint. Some of brits not happy as no English breakfast but a nice Turkish breakfast and you are in Turkey not the uk. You can purchase one in the restaurant also available to purchase Granila bowls different egg dishes sandwiches yoasties etc. Some fruit available apples pears and oranges and some mornings lovely water melon. A really nice complex to stay and we would definitely go back to stay again. Would have liked the option of crockery and cutlery in the apartment but still on the bed and breakfast basis so you can have both. The Alia bar is with the grounds of Daphne and they do a trolleybservice with drinks during the day around the pool. A variety of snacks and and main courses available to eat in the bar. They also sell ice-cream and large bottles of water etc. You can so pay for a late check out if they are not full."

"Arrived early evening and was greeted by a lovely man who checked up in explained where the nearest shops where and the time they opened till. Our luggage was swiftly taken to our room on the top floor we were shown how everything worked and the curtains were then pulled back to the most fantastic picture perfect sea view ! Bed was super comfy had a great night's sleep and kitchen was very well equipped nice to see good sized cups and plenty of equipment and a good freezer compartment In the fridge . Rooms are cleaned every few days (not a problem as there are bin areas at the bottom of the stairs) and bedding changed once during a 10 day stay but clean towels provided as often as you want (I do believe there is a laundry room to use ) good area nice walk to all the restaurants nice and quiet pool area spotless on site restaurant ok you get a food discount if your staying at the Daphne . There is Costa coffee on site also .bin the restrooms in the restaurant area there is areas to change should you be using the facilities whilst waiting for transfers. We were not told a checkout time so we just packed up at 12 noon and this seemed fine would I go again most definitely I have already booked !"
