Montana Pine Resort

"We had our first holiday here. we arrived at Montana pine resort and were dropped off at the gate where we met a bag carrier who literally sprinted with our bags to the reception. We thought it was hilarious. (Note) We arrived around midnight and were graciously offered food and drinks if we needed which was a nice touch. Good things: Great looking resort Great tasting food and always rotating every day! Large amount of entertainment like mini golf, table tennis, pool etc ( for golf and tennis you need to ask for the racquet and club) Shuttle bus down to the beach 3 different pools to utilise Lovely staff big shoutout to the entertainment guy getting everyone involved in the activities Not having to fight for sunbeds Entertainment at night changed and was really engaging and always something to look forward to! Things that could be improved (in our opinion) Variety of food, as picky eater might struggle as choices may be limited to 2-3 things. (No kids section either) Shower pressure in our room was pretty poor Shuttle bus restricted from 8,8:30 and 9 and returns at 4, 4:30 and 5 would be nice to have a midday lift. The cocktails were great but a few more options especially fruiter ones like strawberry daiquiris etc would be lovely Sunset bar was not open which was a shame as a really good view! Would’ve been cool to be able to get snacks all day or for longer? for example unable to get food between 10-12 and 5-7 This hotel was great, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Also I would like to add our transfer was at 6 but we were allowed to keep our wristband after checkout at 12 which we thought was really cool. Overall, we felt the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay went smoothly and can’t thank them enough! Definitely recommended (Stayed 28-4th of June)"

"This is our second time at Montana Pine Hotel. Last year, I gave the hotel 5 stars however, we believe there has been a very noticeable downgrade over the past year. We absolutely love the location, the grounds and the cleanliness. The hotel is immaculate and the ground staff are always out ensuring everything looks aesthetically pleasing. The majority of bar staff are extremely friendly and hospitable. There are 3 pools which are cold but I personally prefer that. The animation team are perfect and the entertainment is good. I have seen reviews regarding the rooms being dated and cramped however, we love the design of the rooms and we slept well every night. Onto the negatives this year, which the main one for us was the food. It just appeared that it was very recycled, and at times the food was quite bland and tasteless. Last year when we were here there was such a variety and it was very tasty, but just did not hit the spot this year, and on 2 or 3 evenings, we decided to go out for our evening meal. It is obvious that there has also been a staffing issue this year, which is not the hotels fault, as the hotel and the entire resort of Hisaronu has been extremely quiet compared to last year and previous times we have stayed here, but this has lead to certain bars being closed during different times of the day, and the sunset bar not being open, which we loved last year. In addition, on our previous stay Turkey night was magical, with the outside pool area being made into an outside restaurant and there was so much food choice however, this year Turkey night was disappointing as the food didn’t seem very Turkish and this was the also the opinion of other guests. We do absolutely love this hotel, and we will undoubtedly return however, it was really sad to see how much of a difference there was to last year. I do believe that this has partly been due to issues out of the managements control, such as less tourists resulting in less staff. I would still absolutely recommend this hotel as value for money is still very good however, we know that the hotel can be even better. We do hope this was just a one off, and we do look forward to returning here again in the future. Overall, we have had a lovely holiday and for the price we paid we can not grumble one bit."

"First of all, I would recommend this hotel to anyone - if you want a picturesque, relaxing stay with an outstanding choice of fresh food, lovely staff and good all inclusive drinks this is absolutely the place to go. The staff are all amazing, but a special thanks to Baran for his bar service, and Furkan who was just so lovely and attentive during our stay. Also to Bert who makes the BEST mojitos! And Balaş for such a friendly restaurant welcome every morning and evening (and his exceptional pide!). There are SO many positives to this hotel, the reception staff and managers can’t do enough for you, they are so attentive and we saw them around a lot more this year. Our aircon wasn’t working and it was sorted by the engineer within a matter of minutes. We were greeted by a warm welcome on reception with a bag of food as we arrived after dinner, and the Bell Boy was really helpful carrying our cases for us! There are three fantastic pool areas with views I’ve never seen elsewhere, always with loads of free sun beds - no need to be up at 6am to reserve. The food is exceptional and changes everyday, with 2 lunch restaurants open each day. There are fresh pancakes made by the wonderful lady that works in the pancake shack, and ice cream served after lunch. There is also midnight soup which is lovely! The entertainment is great with lots to do. And we love the cats!! (all clean and flea free). It’s a 15 minute walk to the market town, and there is a small gym at the hotel that has all the basics you’d need. On the whole, I would recommend staying here, and id also recommend the view upgrade for your room. If you’ve never been before and you’re considering booking there is probably no point reading on, it’s an incredible hotel - but if you are thinking of returning the following points are worth noting. The only reason we are giving it 4 star rather than 5, is we came last year and I gave it 5 then, but a few things were a little disappointing this year in comparison. To start with the cleaning hasn’t been quite as good, we were left without any toilet roll on a few occasions, only one towel one day and other than the remaking of the bed, I don’t see any evidence for surfaces being cleaned. The top bar isn’t open during the day which did great cocktails last year, and the sunset terrace bar hasn’t been available at all. The plates/glassware aren’t always as clean as they could/should be, and we have been a little unwell for part of our stay. There seem to be significantly less staff this year which could be the cause of these changes. There is no service in the restaurant whatsoever this year, when we got water poured and drinks served last year. Not having the option for a fresh omelette at breakfast was really disappointing as it was one of my partner’s favourite parts of breakfast last year, and they no longer serve frozen cocktails. There are still two bars open all day, and plenty of options for breakfast - but it’s just the little things that made last year so excellent. I’d also have to say the rooms and umbrellas could use a little TLC now. As I said, we’ve still had a 4* experience, and if I could put 4.5 I would have, it just hasn’t lived up to last year unfortunately, and we will probably go elsewhere next time, but if it is your first time I’d 100% recommend coming, as I have to many of my friends and family.
