"We were traveling for a local event, during a busy holiday week, while also navigating some specific accommodation needs, as a family member was recovering from a significant medical procedure and required a very careful room arrangement. We were also celebrating a milestone anniversary. I contact the hotel via WhatsApp prior to our arrival to explain our somewhat complicated logistics and ask for assistance with room placement. The response we received from a staff member named Aqib G was genuinely exceptional. Aqib took the time to read and personally acknowledge every detail of our situation. Aqib completely understood our reasons for our request and thoughtfully arranged our rooms to ensure a safe and restful environment for the recovery period. He also made a point to wish us well on both our anniversary and the event we were attending. Coordinating travel with medical restrictions can be stressful. The empathy, attention to detail, and professionalism shown by Aqib and the broader team alleviated our concerns before we even arrived. We highly recommend this hotel for their outstanding customer care and dedication to their guests."

"IHG is becoming a joke and am saying this as a Diamond elite ,guest preference are constantly ignored,it doesnt serve to any purpose ,thats my conclusion,i ve posted countless reviews here ,my preference being ignored time after time ,now i dont complaint anymore but i give a review accordingly . I checked in at this property at 5pm ,Hotel had ample time to RESPECT some of my preferences ,lowest floor given when my profile is high floor,closest room to lift when away from lift is my profile and a view you can't get worse . I could have understood if i had early check inn but at 5pm you honestly dont care nor give priority to diamond guest ,room 103 is probably a room to avoid ,manager should go and see the view ,honestly keep the curtain closed . Dont say the hotel was full room of all categories were selling at decent price for that night ,meaning you still have lot of more decent rooms. Loyalty to IHG makes no sense cause properties dont care ,this is not the first time i had this issue with this property. READ GUEST PRÉFÉRENCES ITS DONE FOR A PURPOSE OR CANCEL IT ALL TOGETHER."

"We have used Crowne Plaza and other IHG hotels around the world and as ever the service and facilities were excellent. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. The restaurant team for dinner were all helpful, friendly and could not have done more us. We didn’t try breakfast, due to an early flight the next day. Check-in online and the check-out processes was very easy. Our only disadvantage was that to get to the airport our taxi had to drive back to junction 6 of the M42 which is always congested and or has roadworks. Would still recommend the hotel as one of the best pre-flight IHG hotels we have stayed in."
