Holiday Inn Birmingham City Centre

"Stayed for 3 nights to combine a music concert at the 02 academy and also the Ozzy Osbourne tributes, we stayed in a king suite which was very spacious and clean, bathroom was also clean and spacious but the rainfall shower and the ordinary shower experience was poor with minimal flow. Food at breakfast was super with plenty of choice and the dinner in the evening was also great. There was one big issue that the bar for some reason didn’t have a delivery and so for 2 days there was no mixer drinks and no soft drinks and travelling with a diabetic to be told that there was NO sugar free drinks was a problem for us but the bar staff had to deal with everyone complaining at them for a management circumstance that was beyond their control but they were brilliant. All staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful but one stand out member of staff that we interacted with every day was SHESH just super helpful, nothing too much trouble and very welcoming."
