Leonardo Royal Hotel Brighton Waterfront

"V nice hotel with spacious lobby. Room was clean and spacious & had hypoallergenic bedding. Loved the uninterrupted sea views. Breakfast ok. Staff friendly, especially those clearing the breakfast tables. Handy to have parking (£29 per day) beneath the hotel. To improve, I think the hotel frontage on the seafront could do with a makeover. Plus a few more options at breakfast such as soya yoghurt, almond milk Bircher muesli, grapefruit. But overall, it’s a nice hotel."

"We booked in this hotel to celebrate my 50th and our 25th wedding anniversary. The day before we had a lovely phone call from Jerome to wish us a wonderful stay and to inform us that he had been able to upgrade our rooms. What a wonderful surprise! This made our holiday so special. The sea view was a real bonus especially as the weather wasn't that great. On arrival we met Casey who was so helpful and welcoming. In our room we had a gift of wine and chocolates waiting to celebrate our special occasion. The room was immaculately clean with really lovely toiletries (The White Company). The tea and coffee making facilities were exceptional with a separate coffee machine and pods which we really appreciated. The room also had a fridge which was very useful. The bed was large and comfortable and considering we were on the seafront there was no noise. The location is amazing! right on the front near the lanes, so near to all the shops and seafront. The breakfast is a buffet and has a lot of choice, although my daughter was disappointed not to see pancakes....Despite this we all found something we liked. The staff at breakfast were attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed. the only thing i didnt like about the hotel was the air freshener by the lift area! The smell to me was just overwhelming and unnecessary....made me feel a bit sick! sorry not a fan. Everything else exceptional thank you I will be returning"
