NYX Hotel London Holborn

"We have really enjoyed our stay here in room 520z Lovely comfortable furnishings that look good too. Great selection of amenities in our room, which was also spotlessly clean and well serviced during our stay Kudos to Alicia and thank you for the finishing touches for our wedding anniversary. We particularly loved being able to grab some downtime in Rena spa. This hotel is in a fantastic location and serves up a huge selection for breakfast which set us up for the day. All staff were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. We will definitely be returning."

"An absolutely wonderful stay! We arrived a little early and the concierge checked our bags so we could go out exploring. Back at check in time we got a free glass of bubbly and a bag of sweets! Our room was large and spotlessly clean. Bed was super comfy, the toiletries in the bathroom were lovely. Excellent coffee and tea supplied. The air con was excellent, we love a cold room. All staff at the ground floor bar, reception and roof top bar were super friendly. I used the pool and that was glorious. My only very small negative was the greeting by the spa staff was not friendly at all, they were talking to each other and I had to ask for advice. This bit has not stopped me giving the hotel 5 stars though. Would stay here again for sure and almost certainly will."

"Disappointed that the suite my husband booked several weeks ago for my birthday was not available, he was informed the day before that there was maintenance planned, but the superior room we had was very comfortable but very noisy overlooking a very busy road. Bed was comfortable but the shower was disappointing with poor water pressure. The lighting in the bathroom was abysmal, even with the lighted shaving mirror, it was inadequate. Overall there is a lack of attention to customer comfort. We arrived back at the hotel after an evening out on Thursday evening at 22.50 for a night cap, but were told the bar was only serving beer or wine. The mini bar in the room had no spirits available and we were told spirits were not available via room service. Breakfast choices were excellent with a wide range of choice, but only when everything was available, the experience was chaotic with the basic products running out and long waits for replacements. Disappointingly the provision of decaf breakfast tea bags in the room proved too difficult, although at breakfast it was available on the first morning - sadly not after that. Would I stay here again? No probably not given the wide choice of good hotels in the area."
