Radisson Blu Edwardian Berkshire

"The refurbished rooms have made a big difference. Rooms are modern with all mod cons. I understand that nearly all rooms are finished now. Location is excellent, a stones throw from Oxford Street shops and Bond Street station. Reception was good, all staff kind. Breakfast was fine, not extravagant but everything you needed from cooked items, pastries, cereal etc, the breakfast room itself was cold but that could have been because there were some maintenance works going on. Will be returning."

"We stayed at the Radisson Blu Bond Street and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience, which was compounded by how the situation was handled, or rather, not handled, by both the hotel and Radisson afterwards. There was a significant noise disturbance during the night (approximately 12am–3.30am), making it impossible to sleep. The following day was my 50th birthday, and due to the disruption and exhaustion, the situation had a real physical impact on me. I have mobility issues, which made the lack of rest particularly difficult. At 8am, I called reception to report the noise disturbance and asked that someone come back to me to ensure it would not happen again that night, either by offering a room in another part of the hotel or by confirming that the guests above had checked out. No one came back to me. By 6pm, having heard nothing, I went down to reception myself to ask for an update. At that point it became clear that nothing had been done. The dismissive attitude we encountered, including eye-rolling, was the final straw. On what should have been a special evening, we instead made the decision to check out and leave the hotel on the night of my 50th birthday, completely ruining our celebration and costing us a lot of money to relocate at such short notice. We raised the issue in person twice during our stay, and since returning home I have submitted two formal complaints by email, including to Radisson’s main customer service team. Despite four separate complaints in total, we have received no acknowledgement, no apology, and no response whatsoever. I understand that issues can occur in any hotel, but what matters is how they are dealt with. In this case, the lack of basic customer care, accountability, or communication has been extremely disappointing , particularly for a hotel at this price point and under a well-known brand. Given the complete lack of response not only from the hotel itself but also from Radisson’s central customer service team, this experience has unfortunately put me off using Radisson hotels altogether in the future."

"The cleaning lady stole my stuff even my reading glasses and the front office said we will look into it .. and nothing!!! This is ridiculous i pay money to get robbed while having my room made up"
