"Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel good location but noisy, close to A&E and sirens loud throughout the night. Room recently refurbished but so small. It was a double but really would not be fit for two. TV on wall at the end of the bed, I’m small and struggled to get past it any only me in the room. Two in the bed to go to the loo in the night would be problematic. no where to put bags and wardrobe tiny"

"This is the second time I have stayed here and now compelled to write a poor review. This is listed as a 4 star hotel and I knew it was very tired from the last visit but now it should be rated as 3 star. It has a grand reception and dining area and smart staff but the rooms are just old and shabby. But here are my two big issues; 1) after a late night working I was woken up at 9am by a maintenance man who wanted to come and do some work on the air conditioning ! In an occupied small twin room !! Bizarre 2) the shower is poor anyway but the water went from scalding hot to freezing cold without moving the dial - I think it’s a serious health risk as it is so hot and I can’t imagine having younger children using it it could be very bad - if anything happens in that hotel the management can’t say they weren’t aware as now it’s in writing I did tell the front desk on exit but was in a rush"
