The breakfast staff provides extraordinary service, in particular Winston. The staff overall- from housekeeping to the door attendants- was first rate. And our suite was delightful. "The Saint James’s Hotel and Club Mayfair was recommended to us by a friend because of its location and boutique atmosphere. We were not disappointed. Check-in was smooth; the room, admittedly, a bit compact, was nevertheless extremely well equipped and comfortable. It got plenty of daylight and because the hotel is on a little cul-de-sac, was very quiet. The staff was wonderful; everyone was very well trained and had a very positive attitude. We opted for breakfast each day and enjoyed a very ample buffet, as well as conversations with the people sitting next to us. The hotel is close to several very good restaurants and a three block walk to the Green Park tube station (where several lines are accessible, without steps) and buses on Piccadilly, which made it easy to get to everywhere we wanted to be."
