The Edwardian Manchester A Radisson Collection Hotel

"We stayed at The Edwardian Manchester for two nights while travelling from London to watch a Manchester United match, and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The hotel is beautifully presented, with comfortable rooms, excellent facilities, and a fantastic location in the heart of Manchester. Throughout our stay, we ordered in-room dining on both days, and the service was exceptional. A special thank you to Rafa from the in-room dining team, who took great care of us during our stay. He was professional, friendly, attentive, and always ensured that everything was delivered promptly and exactly as requested. His excellent customer service really enhanced our experience and made us feel genuinely welcome. The food was delicious, the service was efficient, and every member of staff we encountered was courteous and helpful. It’s always the people who make a stay memorable, and Rafa certainly went above and beyond. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return the next time we visit Manchester. "This has been an incredible stay at a wonderful hotel so far. We arrived at 12pm and were greeted by Myen on the concierge desk. Myen was brilliant! Helping us check in early, supporting us with our bags and helped us get a drink whilst we waited 10 minutes for our (upgraded) room to be available. Myen was polite and kind throughout and made the beginning of our stay perfect - thank you! Looking forward to the rest of the stay 😊"

"Our stay was really poor at this hotel which is such a shame. Firstly, on check in, the woman serving us was rude and unfriendly and it was not exactly clear where the check in desk was. On arrival into the room we noticed straight away how small and unwelcoming the room felt. The shower leaked all over the bathroom causing a flood and there was mould in the shower, bath and around the sink. The toilet was also dirty and stained. Overnight the noise levels were high and we struggled to sleep. Given this poor experience we asked to move rooms in the morning. We were told we can move rooms but we had to dump our bags and leave the hotel until 2 o'clock as no room was ready. The concierge told us they will be taking our bags but they will be putting them into a dirty room and the cleaners can clean around them! Although I understand rooms need to be cleaned this was unsettling and unorganised and no other compensation was offered. We felt really uncomfortable with our bags being in a dirty room. The new room was equally as small and the shower leaked, luckily it did not flood the room like the previous one did. This room also had mould in places and the toilet was again stained! The robes in the new room were also faulty with no ties. We used the spa, but this was very busy and some parts were dirty with present mould. This hotel seems like it is very much geared up to attract young influencers, especially in the spa. They were taking pictures all over the hotel but more noteably were doing so in the spa, including taking videos and being on face time, despite there being multiple signs reminding people that the use of phones is prohibited in the spa/pool area. So if you arent in this category you may feel uncomfortable. Overall, this was not a good stay and is absolutely not worth the money you pay and is definitely not a 5 star! There are other hotels for the same or less money in Manchester you can visit."
