Leonardo Hotel Belfast

"Charming retail district to the northeast. Comfortable sized room. Convenient to the train. Plenty of device chargers. Bathroom spacious with nice towels, but could use more shelves, towels and towel racks, and lighting. Request the nonslip rubber bath mat, because the shower is slippery oversprays onto the floor. No free fresh coffee, only instant."

"Location is perfect, close to Central Station/bus station as well as city centre. Reception staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room facilities are ok for this grade of hotel (needed a luggage rack), cleanliness in functional areas was exceptional (including bathroom, bedding and towels). However, as mentioned in other reviews, our room did have the battle scars of previous occupants with staining on the carpets and the skirting. Sound insulation was good despite city centre location. Our check in was seamless but would probably have been vastly different when there is an influx of coach parties (of which there were a few during our stay). Breakfast was adequate in terms of quality and choice but needs a more proactive approach to table clearing during busy periods. Overall we had a great stay, staff are undoubtedly their greatest asset."

"The hotel does not provide the facilities it says it does. We scanned the QR code in the room and it advised a safe and thermostat to control the heating. Unable to locate either. Reception referred me to the Reception Manager (name withheld) who instantly took an aggressive defensive attitude that the QR code was for a European site and not the hotel site. Whether a European site or not, the company are advertising facilities they do not provide. It is still their website and their policy to place the QR codes in the rooms. Due to attitude, did not spend any money on food and drink after this and did not spend any further time than necessary in the hotel. We will not use a Leonardo Hotel again. The location was excellent and the room was very clean. A little noise from surrounding rooms and the corridor as placed right by the lifts."
