Resting cheerfully between Burgas and Varna, the little town of Obzor is a Black Sea beauty spot with a rather spectacular beach. A holiday to Ozbor is a laid-back choice that's a particular hit for families with children. 

The star of the show is the eight kilometres of fine golden sand, the longest beach on the Black Sea coast. Backed by a promenade of cafés and bars and complete with the stunning Stara Planina Mountains as a backdrop, the strand features shallow, clear water where little ones can splash safely. Filled with family-run restaurants with outside terraces, the main square's the place to go for dinner, lingering into the night over a fine local wine. Despite its charm, Obzor manages to maintain a relaxed vibe and even during the height of summer you'll have plenty of space to yourself.
