HVD Clubhotel Miramar

"Currently on our last day and we definitely don't want to leave. The hotel and staff have been lovely from start to finish. The rooms are spacious and neat and cleaned everyday. The food was delicious with all sorts of hot and cold meals available as well as every drink you could think of. The whole hotel was being cleaned all day every day. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Kids loved the kids club and animation teams. Can't fault anything. It was quiet due to the time of year but this just meant me had everything to ourselves. Would recommend 👌"

"My trip started with a very warm welcome. Our flight was delayed, so by the time we reached the hotel, everything had unfortunately shut. Even so, there were fresh sandwiches on offer, with two types of bread, fresh fruit, and biscuits waiting for us, which was fantastic — and the kids loved it. To make things even better, one of the staff members took all our cases on a trolley and walked us to our rooms, explaining everything about the hotel along the way. He was genuinely happy to help, and it was 2am, but you would never have known it. That set the tone for the whole holiday, because everything after that was just as impressive. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks, and dinner were all excellent, with a huge choice each time. I have to say, the homemade pizza is brilliant, and I’ve had it more than once — even the green one! Give it a try, you’ll be surprised. The drinks menu was just as good, with loads of cocktails to choose from, and the bartenders would happily make something special if you asked. I asked Faith and Kris many times over the week, and they never disappointed. In fact, they even started bringing out new drinks and testing them on us first. They’re both lovely lads and always made us feel welcome whenever we saw them. I also want to mention Angel from the restaurant. He served our drinks with a lovely greeting every time and always managed to make us laugh. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s clean, the staff are incredibly friendly, the food is fantastic, and the drinks are strong. It’s right on the beach too, and if you prefer things a bit quieter, this is a great time of year to go. The weather was beautiful but not too hot, and we even had a thunderstorm, which was actually great fun."

"Location is great, sitting right on the beach. The whole hotel was pretty much what we expected when we booked. The large main lobby and bar area looks newly refurbished. The staff have all been very friendly. It was quiet while we were there, but the animation team still provided the full programme of entertainment and kids club activities. No idea what it would be like when very busy, but it is large and plenty of seating around the pool and on their own stretch of beach. The pool wasn’t too cold and the addition of a heated indoor pool was a great bonus. The food in the buffet was excellent. Great choice presented in small quantities so it was as fresh as a buffet can be. No issues with cleanliness in any part of the hotel. Always someone cleaning somewhere. Bar staff were friendly. So, for what we paid it’s 5 out of 5."
